Presentation is important – I always wear a long coloured silk dress; click on Dresses to see them.

My repertoire consists of popular music from shows and films, classical and folk tunes – further details can be found on the repertoire page.

Sheila Watts Harp Music on Facebook My résumé describes how I work and highlights some special events from the full list of venues. Or see my facebook page.

Inside my instrument is a pickup, which feeds my sound reinforcement. Large functions take this feed into their Public Address system.

On your day

I arrive in good time at the venue and set up my Bose sound system where the meal is laid. My Bose is not large and just helps when there are more than forty diners. I begin playing as guests appear.

At weddings, I play a chosen tune for the procession of the bridal party, followed by three pieces at the signing of the Register, and finally for the recessional.

As guests gather at the drinks reception, which may be outside, I begin playing, and continue until the call to sit for the meal. I wheel my harp in and play through until speeches.

I would naturally play a mix of genres, suiting the guests before me, but you may specify tunes I should play and any I must not play. I carry all my music with me so that, on the day, guests may request from my repertoire. I can play up to 45 pieces.

I wear a long coloured silk dress and you may choose from about twenty colours.

I play a large concert harp, 1 metre 80 in height, and I need a space of 1 metre by 2, plus a nearby corner for the Bose column.

If you would care to furnish me a physical address I shall pop a leaflet and repertoire list into the post.

I require half my fee to book, by cheque or bank transfer, and upon booking I generate a paper receipt which I send out through the post. The balance of my fee is due 7 days before your event.

Phone or email to discuss further details.

Dear Sheila We wanted to say thank you so much for the wonderful music on our special day. It really was everything that we had hoped for and lots of our friends and family commented on how much they had enjoyed your playing. It really gave the day the atmosphere we wanted. Thank you again.

Just a little note to say thank you for playing the harp so wonderfully, and adding some magic to our wedding day. Kind regards
